Now, Delavo Gold members can import existing sales data from other systems … and put it straight into Delavo! No need to worry about the payment being processed a second time, because Delavo makes sure that only the information is moved.

* FEATURE: Flexible And Easy Synchronicity Between Your Delavo User Database and an External User Database

Imagine your user changes their email or password. They also happen to use the same email and password to access another product they bought from you, but that information exists in a separate database outside of Delavo. Ideally, the change should be universal, and happen all at once. Well now, it does.

With this new feature, you’ll also be able to choose which events trigger a synchronization. For example, you might only want the password to be universally changed. Or you might want only the email address to be universally changed. Or perhaps there’s another piece of user data altogether that you want to trigger this event. This new features gives you the flexibility to make that decision yourself, and run it, giving you unprecedented control and automation over the way your Delavo User Database and external user database interact.

* FEATURE: Now, You Can Leave Only Information About Earnings In The Affiliate’s Commissions View.

Before, Delavo would show data about Opt-Ins as a “Zero Commission”. But now, you as a Gold Admin can choose to display only earnings — not Opt-In information — to your affiliates! Thanks to those who suggested this feature! We’re always paying attention to your ideas and desires… so please continue sharing them.

* FEATURE: Affiliate Campaigns- We’ve Added “Number of Opt-Ins” and “Opt-In Ratio”

Not every campaign is about sales. We recognize that Opt-In metrics are very important, and entirely different from sales metrics. So we have added a feature that allows Campaigns to calculate zero sales and other sales separately. That means that All the previously “0 sales” are displayed under “Opt-Ins” and the number of other sales are put under the “Sales” category. Also, there are two corresponding “Ratio” columns now, giving your affiliates the ability to tell, at-a-glance, how their campaign is proceeding.

* FEATURE: “Auto-add membership(s) to users”

A user just signed up for a free product, and created an account. They’re now a member of your site. Before, because they didn’t pay for anything, this would count as a zero-sale and would create a bit of confusion in the process of opening up your membership to this user. This sometimes made planning your funnel a bit challenging.

Well now, you can have Delavo Auto-Add members to users. This is especially great when you want your users to receive additional memberships during special promotions.

You can find this new setting on the global level (Profile / Merchant Settings) and on the Funnels level. The memberships listed in these settings will be auto-added in the event one of these two things occur:

-A New User Registers

-An existing user who doesn’t have the membership logs in.

 

Delavo Gold Members Also Get These Great Changes in 2.17:

* CHANGE: Autoassigned Privilege Packages and Affiliate Programs are now configured in Profile / Merchant settings

This change refers to the “Autoassigned” Privilege Packages and Affiliate Programs. The “Auto-assignment” is now configured not in the Privilege Packages and Affiliate Programs record, but in Profile / Merchant Settings, under “Auto-add to users” section. Also, auto-adding now works not only when a new user registers, but also when an existing user logs in.

* CHANGE: License Server optimization: auto-upgrade speed increased 3x times

* CHANGE: Affiliate Campaigns now count clicks and orders from Funnels

* CHANGE: API documentation is now included in each Delavo installation

* FIX: added limitation of the password length of 99 characters

* FIX: Fusemail.com integration form was visible for all types of API Post, now it’s visible for Questionnaires only

How Delavo Automates One of the Top 3 Most Powerful Psychological Triggers Known to Man

According to Dr. Robert Cialdini’s Principle of Scarcity, “people assign more value to opportunities when they are less available.”

Translation:  if it’s about to go away, you will probably want it much more.

If the object of our attention plays hard to get, or is seen with a competing suitor, our desire is intensified greatly.

Business owners have understood this for centuries.  Sales that end on a particular date are extremely powerful sales motivators.  In fact, most marketing experts I know say it is one of the most powerful “psychological triggers” they know – if not the single most powerful.

Modern online marketers employ scarcity tactics as sales motivators to varying degrees of effectiveness.  The most common method goes something like this …

“Only 500 units will be sold – ever!”

This was extremely effective a few years ago, but if the reports I’m getting from business owners over the last year are any indication, it is quickly falling out of favor.  As more entrepreneurs say “only 500 units will be sold” and then sell more a month later with some ham-handed excuse, consumers are trained to mistrust the tactic.

It’s not that everyone who employs this tactic isn’t telling the truth.  Far from it.  It’s just that it only takes a few careless (or at worst dishonest) entrepreneurs to spoil the fun for everyone.

How do we get around this?

Well, one great way is to have a price that automatically increases over time – or as more units are sold.

If your customer doesn’t believe you, all they have to do is wait to see with their own eyes that you mean what you say.

The problem is, finding a programmer who can automate this for you correctly is rather difficult.

- Change the price by time (every minute … every hour …)

You can also set start and end dates for your sale.  All of this being managed automatically by the software – and all transparently to the customer so they can see with their own eyes that it’s not just a gimmick.
