Control your WishList Member Plugin within Delavo v2.24
With the release of Delavo v2.24 comes yet another powerful tool to give you complete control over your business from a single interface.
Today, you can manage the WordPress Plugin “WishList Member” from within Delavo. This means that you can add, edit and delete members, as well as use Delavo features to sell your WordPress membership.
For example:
- Use Funnels to upsell to a “WishList Member” membership. Or …
- Automatically run a dime-sale to sell a “WishList Member” membership.
There are many other usage scenarios, so try it out and see what best meets your needs.

NEW – Customizable Additional Fields in User Records
Not all businesses need the same user information, so why get stuck with only a handful of preset options? Now you can create your own additional fields, giving you the power to sort, identify and configure automatic changes based on the fields you’ve created.
For example, you can create a new field that tracks where your users are coming from, and then provide them with an offer more exclusively tailored to their needs.
Here’s another example: Let’s say that you’re considering creating a mobile app. You can create a field designed to track what mobile platforms your users prefer, and then easily sort through your user list based on that field. This way you’ll know what mobile platform to develop for, and which users to ask for feedback.
The possibilities are endless and fully customizable, so go ahead, get creative with it! Ask your users for specific information when they sign up. Populate a new field automatically with an API Post. Run more effective split tests by collecting more detailed information about your users as they fill in text fields or select check boxes that correlate to your custom user fields.

Email is an important tool in the arsenal of any Internet Marketer. They can increase customer interaction, allowing you to receive feedback and achieve multiple points of exposure.
However, that’s really technical and kind of boring to your customer. What they care about the most is a fluid process. One that carries them from what they’re doing to what they’ll do when they receive your product, without being annoying or disruptive.
So how do we achieve this?

Here’s What’s New:
1. Emails Can Now Be Delayed For A Specified Time Period
Here’s the situation: Your customer is in the middle of your sales process, having purchased one of your products, paid for it, and moved onto an upsell. But then they get an email from you. Now you have two messages (your upsell and your ‘delivery’ email) competing for the customer’s attention. It’s like fighting yourself, and it takes fluidity away from the sales process. No more. Now you can time the delivery of your product so that your customer can remain focused on your sales message.
When we tested this method on our own products, we were thrilled to discover a dramatic increase in upsell conversion rates. And that’s not the only change we’ve made to the email process.
2. Now, “Sale Notifications” can be customized at both the Funnel Step and Funnel Split Page Level
This one is huge. Before, emails could only be customized on Product and Package levels. But now, for every step of your funnel, you can send out an email. For every test you run, you can also test a corresponding email. This gives you much more information, and also gives your customers unique messages for each upsell they purchase, perhaps containing specific instructions or suggestions.
Wait … this all sounds like a lot of email doesn’t it? What if your customers aren’t as receptive to multiple email messages? Well, don’t worry … we’ve got you covered there, too.
3. Disabling Customized Emails is Now Possible
The following types of email notifications can now be disabled at any level, and are customizable:
- “Sale Notification Sent To The Customer”
- “Registration Confirmation Needed”
- “Registration Confirmed”
The Takeaway:
With Delavo update v2.21, you are not restricted by technology … you can choose and test the method of interaction that works best for your customers. Whether that means more email, or fewer emails. Delayed emails, or emails delivered straight-away. You can figure out what works best for your customer … and then do it.
There’s One More Thing …
These changes have been primarily about what happens after your customer enters your sales funnel. What about getting them into it to begin with? Today, we roll out a feature that gives you the ability to have your user “sign up” by simply “logging in”. Additionally, you can have a product sent to them, simply by having them enter their information.
Then, the information they’ve entered becomes their log-in information. You have to see it in action. It’s very cool, and fully designed around the idea of allowing your customer to have a fluid and easy experience with your business.

The Affiliate Dashboard Module was requested by many of our members, and we’re very happy to be able to deliver it today. You can find it now in the member area under “Promote / Dashboard”. But why stop there?
Today we’re announcing three new features.
1. DB Memberships
DB memberships protect your directories in a new way by working with direct DB connections. This type of membership is much more reliable than remote membership when your site is under a really heavy load.
So now, when you’re in the middle of a launch, and you have hundreds (even thousands) of new customers signing up all at once, you won’t have to worry about the reliability of your software, which means you won’t lose potential customers.
To get this enhanced reliability to work, you’ll need to change some specific configurations in cPanel (Remote MySQL). More information can be found when you set it up for the first time.
2. Special “Generated Sales” Interface for Affiliates
When you’re an affiliate, it helps to have as much statistical data as possible. Now your affiliates can see a list of all the sales they’ve generated. You can find this list in the member area under “Promote / Sales” and you can control it through a simple privilege setting.
3. A Better, More Informative “Member / Downline” Interface
The “Member / Downline” interface lists all sub-affiliates for a particular affiliate. The interface has been dramatically enhanced, and provides you with more information than ever before.
Now your affiliates can see:
- click statistics
- # of Opt-Ins generated by each sub-affiliate
- # of Sales generated by each sub-affiliate
All records are arranged so that the most active sub-affiliate is at the top. And it always pays to know which of your affiliates (or sub-affiliates) are doing the most for you.
As you can see, three powerful new features. And we almost stopped there. But a core part of our culture here at Delavo is to over deliver, so …

Delavo Funnels Save You Time … And Make You Money.
Delavo Funnels Can Radically Improve Your Marketing … And Save You Hours of Time.
Time is money. You’re a business owner, so you know that. You also know that the longer you spend fussing with technical details, and working out kinks in software, the less time you have to improve your marketing.
Delavo is always working to improve efficiency. We believe strongly in “Speed to Market”, and so we adjust Delavo’s software to allow us to give us a quantum boost in productive output.
It lowers our stress levels. It frees up our resources. And it generates thousands of dollars, hand over fist, simply because we are able to “Get there first”.
Delavo Funnels are absolutely key to this. Since Delavo has so many features, we decided to dedicate today’s post to giving you a clear understanding of Funnels, and how to use it in ways you may have never considered.
In fact, I’m practically willing to guarantee that there is a usage scenario here that has never occurred to you.
So let’s begin!
“Wow, that headline really grabbed me. Let’s see what this product is about.”
And with that single thought, your customer begins to move through your ad. They eat up your story, comb through your bullets and ask questions in their mind that are quickly answered by your well-crafted copy.
As each moment passes, they become more and more excited by the prospect of owning what you’re selling. Finally they reach the bottom and their hand is itching to yank their wallet out. They click on a button. And one of two things happen:
- They are shown an upsell
- They’re taken to an order form that shows the price of the product and requests their credit card information.
When the first one happens before they’ve even entered their order information, the prospect becomes annoyed and sometimes gives up on the product. They think, “I don’t need to see an upsell. And who knows how many more of these pages will I have to deal with? I just want the product.”
When the second one happens, your customer hesitates. Now all they’re seeing is the price of your product, standing alone, naked. They see a bunch of blank boxes asking for their information. In that moment, they may forget what they’re going to receive. So they change their mind.
They “abandon” the page.
But some of them stick it through, and hit submit. And if you’ve done your homework, you’ve created an upsell. Maybe it’s a JV product. Maybe it’s the print version of your digital ebook. Maybe it’s a 30-day membership to a continuity product you sell. Whatever it is, they decide that they like what they see, and decide to buy it. Only to be faced with yet another order form.
“Ugh,” they think. “Another order form? Forget it, I don’t need it that badly.”
And so they abandon the order process.
The Last Thing You Want Is A Leaky Funnel
In our extensive testing, we found that the more steps that we pushed at our customer, the less likely they were to follow through on the sale. Each time you create a new step, it’s like punching a hole through your funnel. So when we created Delavo Funnels, we did our best to prevent leaks like that from ever happening.

- Put the entire transaction process on one page.
Now your customer doesn’t need to be taken away from the page that sold them on your product in the first place. We found that this simple, significant change can result in a substantial increase to your conversion rate. - Create a One-Click Upsell process
Once your customer makes the first purchase, they’ll be able to buy any upsells you offer with just one click. They don’t have to type in any extra information. It’s as simple as a click of the mouse for them. And since Funnels integrate perfectly with Paypal, you can also have these single clicks send money to a different payment processor (more on this later). - Split-test at every step of your funnel
Often it’s hard to split test your salespage along side your upsells and find the optimal combination of sales elements. But thanks to Delavo’s built-in Split-testing capability, you can test and fine tune the perfect funnel for your product. - Get Statistically Significant Performance Numbers
With the click of just one button, you can get the statistics on the entire funnel. Also, Delavo will take the proactive step of letting you know when the split-test is over, and a winner has emerged. In fact, it ends the split test for you once it acquires enough data.
If this was all that Delavo Funnels did, it would be powerful enough. But Delavo keeps growing, and that’s because our experience reveals new lessons. And we take those lessons seriously.
For example, we discovered that if users were shown an upsell they’d already received from you in the past, they may think that the product itself is something they already own. You may miss an opportunity to show them something new.
That’s why we created Conditional Upsells.
With this powerful feature, you’ll prevent cart abandonment and increase the likelihood of your customer buying a new upsell. Also, it will prevent your customers from accidentally buying something they already own, and requesting a refund. A fantastic resource and time-saver for both you, and your customer.
We also found when working with JV partners, it was tedious to transfer money from our account to theirs. We wanted to be able to control where the money went instantly. So we incorporated a fantastic feature that allows you to have different payment processors for each step of the funnel. That means that we could collect 100% of the initial sale in one PayPal account, and have the profit from the upsell go to a joint PayPal account. Total transparency between you and your JV partner, and it’s automated so you don’t have to worry about it.
Lastly, you can also set up a Backup Payment Processor. We came up with this idea because sometimes your customer can enter erroneous information. A common issue we ran into was someone entering a phone number that didn’t correspond to the credit card they entered. When you have a merchant account with strict fraud prevention set up as your primary Payment Processor, this can be particularly problematic. But if you setup a Backup Payment Processor that is not as strict in their fraud prevention requirements, you can have Delavo try the backup processor without the customer ever knowing that anything has changed. To the customer, it’s business as usual, and they’re able to complete the sale. To you, it’s a rescued lead and avoiding a time-consuming Customer Service issue.
As you can see, Delavo Funnels is very powerful. It integrates with third party scripts, integrates with all the other Delavo features, and even allows you to notify a third party site of a purchase. Then you can integrate your current membership sites developed outside of Delavo.
But what we are particularly proud of is that Setup Takes Less Than 60 Minutes!
